Editor/Author Biographies
Jayita Poduval is an ENT Surgeon with more than 15 years of post qualification experience in her subject. She trained at the Jamshetji Jeejebhoy Group of Hospitals and Grant Medical College in Mumbai, India, and completed her post graduation under the guidance of Dr Milind V Kirtane from the Seth G S Medical College and the KEM Group of Hospitals in Mumbai.

Since then she has worked at a number of locations and gained extensive experience in the private sector as well as in institutional practice. She is now working as faculty in the department of ENT at the Pondicherry Institute of Medical Sciences, a tertiary hospital and medical college in India.

Her practice focus is towards surgery of the voice and airway, nasal and sinus surgery and ear microsurgery. She is keen on research and education in her specialty, and has other interests like writing, music and photography. She lives in Pondicherry with her daughter and husband, also a doctor and writer, and a major but silent contributor towards this book.
