Editor/Author Biographies
Georgette Andraz is a senior lecturer of strategic management and entrepreneurship at the School of Management, Hospitality and Tourism of the University of the Algarve. She holds a Master in Economic and Business Administration Sciences from the Faculty of Economics, University of the Algarve and a PhD in Management Sciences from the University of Évora. Her main research interest include Strategy and Performance and Entrepreneurship. She is a member of CEFAGE - Research Center of the University of Évora, has authored, and coauthored various national and international scientific publications. Orcid 0000-0001-5553-7620.

Helder M. Brito Carrasqueira is a professor at the University of the Algarve - School of Management, Hospitality and Tourism (ESGHT), in the Department of Economics, where he teaches Portuguese and European Economics, International Economics, International Marketing, and Internationalization of Tourism Companies. He holds a PhD in Economics (FEUAlg) and a Master in International Economics (ISEG/UL). He was Dean of ESGHT and President of the Scientific Council, as well as the Head of the Evaluation and Quality Office at the University of the Algarve.

He has authored and co-authored twenty book chapters, fourteen indexed journal articles, and he is a member of the scientific board of three journals. He was a member of the scientific committee of eleven international conferences and has participated in five projects (two of which as project coordinator). Helder M. Brito Carrasqueira has supervised twenty-eight postgraduate and undergraduate dissertations, has made eighteen conference presentations, and has been an invited speaker in more than thirty academic events. He is a CiTUR researcher.

Rosaria Pereira has a PhD in tourism from the Faculty of Economics of the University of the Algarve and is Associate Professor at the School of Management, Hospitality and Tourism of the University of Algarve. She was, between 2015 and 2017, an Invited Assistant Lecturer at the School of Tourism and Hospitality of the University Europeia in Lisbon. She is a member of the Research Centre for Tourism, Sustainability and Well-being (CinTurs). Her research interests are related to tourism, tourist marketing, branding, and destinations branding and personality. She has published articles in international journals such as International Journal of Culture, Tourism and Hospitality Research, Journal of Destinations Marketing and Management and Journal of Quality Assurance in Tourism and Hospitality, among others, as well as some book chapters. She also belongs to the Scientific Commission of the journal Tourism
Rita Baleiro holds a PhD and a Masters in English and Portuguese Studies from the New University of Lisbon, and a first degree in Modern Languages and Literatures – Portuguese and English – also from the New University of Lisbon. She is a senior lecturer of English for Specific Purposes and Portuguese Language and Culture at the School of Management, Hospitality and Tourism of the University of the Algarve. She is a member of CITUR (Centre for Research, Development and Innovation in Tourism) and she collaborates with the Tourism, Space and Urbanities Research Group of the Federal University of Rio de Janeiro. She has been co-chief-editor of Dos Algarves: A Multidisciplinary e-Journal since 2007. Her research interests include literature studies, academic writing and the intersections between literature and tourism.
