Rupali MahajanDr. Rupali A. Mahajan currently serves as the Associate Professor and Head of the Data Science Department, along with holding the position of Associate Dean (Research and Development) at Vishwakarma Institute of Information Technology, Pune. With a Ph.D. in Computer Science and Engineering, she boasts a robust academic background and a wealth of experience in the field.
Her expertise is exemplified by her extensive research portfolio, which includes an impressive total of 18 patents across diverse domains. Dr. Mahajan's research interests encompass a wide spectrum, ranging from Machine Learning and Artificial Intelligence to Deep Learning. She has also authored 7 books and published over 40 research papers, contributing significantly to areas such as software engineering, artificial intelligence, and data science.
Beyond academia, Dr. Mahajan has been actively engaged in consultancy projects with the Government of Maharashtra. She also serves as an editor and reviewer for various esteemed academic publishers.
