Priyadarshini Moharkonda Srinivasan

M.S. Priyadarshini is an Organizational and Health Psychologist with over 20 years of experience in academia. She holds a UG degree in Psychology from Women’s Christian College, a PG and PhD in Psychology from the University of Madras, and a PG Certificate in Academic Practices from Lancaster University, UK. Her areas of expertise include job motivation, stress management, work-life balance, cross-cultural studies, and emotional intelligence. She has conducted numerous training programs for students and professionals and has written articles on youth development. Dr. Priyadarshini has also been involved in research on topics such as the effects of anxiety on cardiac disease and the impact of work environment on marital happiness among software professionals. She has received research grants from institutions like Sunway University and the Asian Office of Aerospace Research and Development (AOARD) for her work on topics like the influence of parenting styles on late adolescents' self and emotional development and the origin of trust within organizations. Dr. Priyadarshini has also presented her research findings in various journals and conferences, contributing significantly to the field of psychology. Dr. Priyadarshini's career spans across different countries, having worked as a Programme Leader at Sunway University in Malaysia and currently serving as a faculty member at Christ University in Bangalore, India. She has a keen interest in yoga and has previously served as an advisor on stress management at Apollo Hospitals in India. Additionally, she has been involved in media engagements, including interviews on TV channels like Kalaigner TV and Jaya TV, and has given a TEDx Talk on stress management. Her research interests and activities have made her a respected figure in the field of psychology, and her contributions continue to shape the understanding of various aspects of human behavior and well-being.
