Preeti Singh Bahadur

Preeti Singh Bahadur , Amity University, Greater Noida (U. P.) is working as an Associate Professor in Applied Science Department. She completed her B.Sc. in (Electronics), M.Sc. (Physics) and Ph.D. (Physics) degree from Barkatullah University, Bhopal, (M.P.). She has a total of 21 years of research and teaching experience. Her current areas of interest are condensed matter physics, Laser, optics, optoelectronics Thermal and Dynamical properties of Alkali halides, cyanides, superoxide and fullerene materials. She has guided M.Phil., Ph.D. scholars and many UG/PG students in their dissertation work. She handled one research projects funded by the University Grant Commission, Government of India. She has published 90+ research articles in various journal of repute, indexed in SCI/SCIE/SCOPUS. She has also presented more than 25 research papers in various international and national conferences in India and abroad. She is a persistent reviewer of leading national and international journals. She is a program committee member of various IEEE conferences and a member of Journal of Advances in Physics, Member of Scientific, Technical Committee & Editorial Review Board on Engineering and Physical Sciences, World Academy of Science, Engineering and Technology (WASET), Editorial Board Member of various Journals. She is a life member of Amity University Network (AUN) Research lab. She has chaired many sessions from different conferences, head of the session of various international conferences. Also, she has attended various FDP’s on teaching pedagogy, ICT teaching and learning tools, LaTeX from various governing bodies like M.A.N.I.T, IIT Bombay, MHRD government of India. Also attended various Workshop on Virtual Labs, held at amity University, Greater Noida in collaboration with IIT Delhi Virtual Labs, and MHRD Govt. of India under the Mission on Education through Information and Communications Technology (ICT). She is an active reviewer of many journals. She is a good learner and listener and contributed greatly to society through academics and research. She has been awarded an employee of the quarter from Amity University, Greater Noida also awarded Shiksha rattan saman by Nayya Foundation in recognition of Sterling Merit, Excellent Performance and outstanding contribution in the Field of Education and for the Progress of the Nation Individual Achievement, Intellectual Excellence and National Development at Asansol, West Bengal. Dr. Preeti has taught many engineering subjects at UG and PG level. Few subjects like Engineering Physics, Lasers and Research Methodologies are the key subject of interest.
