Prior to joining Nehru Institute of Technology, Dr. Selvakumar held positions as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Science and Humanities at Info Institute of Engineering and Dr. N.G.P Institute of Technology, both located in Coimbatore, Tamil Nadu, India, spanning from 2011 to 2023. Dr. Selvakumar's academic and research interests lie primarily in the field of phytochemistry. He has made significant contributions to his field, with an impressive record that includes 30 journal publications, 12 patents, and 20 conference papers. Additionally, he has organized 5 seminars and conferences, further demonstrating his commitment to academic and scientific exchange. Throughout his career, Dr. Selvakumar has been recognized for his dedication and excellence in teaching, having been honored with several awards, including the Best Teacher Awards. He holds a prominent position in the academic community, contributing actively to research.
