|Khar Thoe Ng - Contributing Author|Having multidisciplinary interests and(&) a passion for lifelong learning, Dr. Ng Khar Thoe has diversified her scope of studies to be an advocate for Science/Social Science education incl. Climate Change environment sustainability education via technology-enhanced transdisciplinary approaches. She holds a Ph.D in Education (Open Univ. Malaysia), Ph.D. in Arts Education (WIU, USA), M.Ed. (Brunel Univ. of West London) & B.Sc.Ed. (Hons.)(Univ. Science Malaysia), Dip. in H.E.N. (Kingston Univ. & St. College of Health Studies, UK). Her research interests lie mainly on enhancing essential skills of learners through technology-enhanced science/ environmental/social science pedagogical approaches including PBA/PBL/IBL. She worked as teacher at primary/secondary levels at schools locally/abroad. She was tutor/trainer/academic facilitator/specialist at regional training centre; project/thesis supervisor at tertiary institutions & proposal examiner/Adjunct Assistant Professor [with 4 Masters (WOU) &1 doctoral (AeU) student graduated (PhD in Ed.Mgt/Bus.Admin.) & 10 in progress, i.e. 8 on music/arts education, 1 on Educational Management & 1 on ECE, etc] at tertiary institutions. She was the Visiting Professor in Tsukuba University, Japan [URL: ]. She also taught Elementary & Primary Science as part-time lecturer/tutor for Al-Bhukary International Univ. (AIU) & Wawasan Open Univ. (WOU) respectively. Moreover, she has diverse managerial experience as Regional Coordinator/Director, Acting Head of Science, Editor-In-Chief, Journal Manager & Senior Editor of journals; Co-Chair, Publicity Chair & Executive Secretary of Conferences, etc. She was the founder for ‘Southeast Asia Regional Capacity- enhancement Hub’ (SEARCH) and several hyperlinked project-based programmes incl. LeSMaT(Borderless) offshoot Ed 4.0 project funded by SEAMEO for Inter-Centre Collaboration (ICC). She was involved in many regional/international programmes as founder/coordinator/judge(1996-2023)/chief judge/reviewer/advisor/speaker/consultant, also as visiting professor (CRICED), invited keynote/plenary speaker, Regional Director of Sc. across the World (Asia Pacific). She is life member & Technical Advisor of Society for Research Development (SRD). She published extensively as lead writer (>380), editor/chief editor, of which many books/modules/bk chapters, also refereed/Scopus/ISI-indexed high impact publications were cited/referred widely. Her efforts made in these publications also won acclaims/accolades/appreciation from many events at regional/international levels, e.g. ICDE2009, ICDE2013, ISCIIID 2014, 1RCCS2014, 2RCCS2015, iPEINX2016, ICRDSTHM-17, ICRTSTMSD-18, SEAQIL REGRANT 2017-2019, iCon-MESSSH-20, ICONESS2021, iCon-MESSSH-21, e-STOMATA2022, e-Delphi2022, Minecraft Championship-21-23, e-Sport'22, ICONESS'23, CCC'23,iCRI-2022-24. Her current focus/research interests include helping as many youths/people as possible to achieve their life goals through lifelong continuous professional learning for inspiring creativity, networking & sustainable living for all. In 2021, the 3 Minecraft projects she supervised won Top 11th to 20th placing (Bronze). In 2022, the two Minecraft projects that she supervised won No. 4th, No. 8th (Gold,Silver, also the latter team won Champion during e-sport on 18/9), 4 Minecraft projects won Top 11th to 17th placing (Bronze) in 2022 & 1 Minecraft project won 7th placing in 2023.
