Abstract

This Chapter examines application knowledge via technology-enhanced agrofarm education as transdisciplinary approach for sustainability. Multiple case research design includes literature research on rural farmers' knowledge to apply agrichemicals with vast effects on ground water. Cross-Case Analysis is made on how agrichemicals e.g. artificial fertilizers, fungi-/herbi-/pesti-/insecticides in a holistic manageable of farmers' agriculture food production could benefit mankind, adversely can also cause human hardship upon consumptions that are detrimental to natural habitat, soil, ecosystem conservation and climate change. There were significant differences to educate use/misuses of rural farmers' agrichemical applications on the agriculture food production. Exemplary-Case Analysis is made on eco-sustainable minimal or chemical free tropical agriculture food crops production reaping in profits to upgrade livelihood. Suggestions are made to integrate transdisciplinary approaches in learning outcomes to integrate emerging technologies into food production in agriculture education.
