He obtained his PhD from Anna University, ME in Power electronics and Drives from SSN College of Engineering, Chennai and Bachelor of Engineering in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from Dr. Sivanthi Aditanar College of Engineering, Tiruchendur. he has 9+ patents,3+ Copyrights,32+ journal papers, 16+ conference papers,26 book chapters, 1 authored book and 2 edited books. He has an h-index of 23 and an i-10 index of 38. He was recognized as an NPTEL Domain Scholar under the domain “Faculty Domain – Advanced” in October 2022, by NPTEL, IIT Madras.
