Description & Coverage
Description:

In a world grappling with pressing challenges of sustainability, the service sector stands as both a cornerstone of the global economy and a critical frontier for achieving sustainable development. Yet, despite its pivotal role, the sector faces hurdles that impede its progress toward the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). Issues of unequal access to vital services, resource inefficiencies, and the ever-looming peril of the digital divide threaten to cast shadows on the path to a sustainable future. As the need for transformative solutions becomes increasingly urgent, the question arises: how can the service sector harness the power of digital innovation to surmount these challenges and forge a sustainable trajectory?

Sustainable Development Goal Advancement Through Digital Innovation in the Service Sector, is a groundbreaking book that stands as a pioneering solution to the issue of implementing sustainability in the service sector through an intricate exploration of how digital technologies can be wielded as catalysts for achieving SDGs within the service sector. By shedding light on the potential of digital innovation, the book unveils a transformative path toward a more sustainable world.

With unparalleled depth, this book navigates through the intricate relationship between digital innovation and sustainable development, unraveling the tapestry of challenges, opportunities, and tangible strategies that lie ahead. As a guiding light, it illuminates how digital technologies such as the internet of things (IoT), artificial intelligence (AI), and blockchain can revolutionize service delivery, bridge the gap in access, and pave the way for resource-efficient practices. More than a book, this is a complete roadmap for policymakers, academicians, business leaders, and changemakers seeking to harness digital innovation's potential for a service sector that transcends limitations and propels us into a future aligned with the SDGs.
