Description & Coverage
Description:

Entrepreneurial Orientation is an emerging concept in which the entrepreneurs, managers, and executive’s design the plans, policies, and programs in order to do something novel, which exploit the opportunities which is not done by other organizations. Entrepreneurial orientation indicates the mechanism, process, practices, and decision-making styles in the novel way. In today’s global economy, supply chain uses the strategic knowledge for the sustainable actions and activities in the emerging markets. Entrepreneurial orientation influences the attitude and aptitude of the firms and industrialists that stresses the need to advance the dynamic relationship between entrepreneurship and supply chain. Distributors believed more responsive towards the market trends in order to establish cooperation and coordination with the manufacturers in the multiple areas. Literature contains many warrants about the entrepreneurial supply chain and its partners to evolve with the entrepreneurial behavior and entrepreneurial relationship for the mutual benefit and growth in the dynamic markets.

With respect to the global trends, it is very essential for the Supply Chain to adopt sustainable practices and keep the environmental considerations in different plans, initiatives, and activities. To pursue a sustainable approach, the supply chain should develop key relationships, access important resources, go beyond the regular institutional norms, and pioneer novelty, and risky initiatives. An organization seeks entrepreneurial opportunities that prevent pollution and plans to show entrepreneurial endeavors and sustainable practices. It is observed in the literature that the relationship of entrepreneurship and supply chain is ignored and author(s) have not paid interest to foster this field of interest. However, this is a very interesting topic for marketing, SC, entrepreneurship, HR, and Strategic Management for the academic field. This book calls for the interesting perspectives of the SC and entrepreneurship on the theory as well as practical perspectives.
