Victoria Okojie has been working in the Library and Information Science field for over 35years, with experience in teaching and practice. She currently lectures at the University of Abuja, Nigeria and is a Member of the prestigious International Advisory Committee, UNESCO Memory of the World Programme as well as Stichting IFLA Global Libraries Board. She worked at the University of Ibadan Library; TheBritish Council; pioneer Registrar/CEO, Librarians’ Registration Council of Nigeria and as an independent consultant. Dr. Okojie was President, Nigerian Library Association; Chair, IFLA Africa Section; Chair, IFLA Division V; Member, IFLA Governing Board; Member, National Library of Nigeria Governing Board and Adviser, Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation Global Libraries Program. She is a Fellow, US State Department International Visitor Leadership Program; Fellow, Nigerian Library Association and Associate, IFLA International Leaders Programme. She has published many papers and has a strong passion for Library and Information Services advocacy.
Magnus Osahon Igbinovia is the Head of Electronic Library Department, Ambrose Alli University Ekpoma. He teaches on a part-time basis at the Department of Library and Information Science and at the Institute of Education, in the same university. He is a PhD candidate at the University of Ibadan, and a Certified Librarian of Nigeria (CLN). He has over 40 scholarly publications to his merit both in local and highly refereed international journals. He is an Editorial Board Member of the Ghana Library Journal, IJBST Journal Group and HeartBeat Journal of Library and Information Science. He is a reviewer to numerous journals and has won national awards from the Nigeria Library Association, where he is a member of the Edo State Chapter. He is a passionate librarian with the drive to expand the frontiers of knowledge through scholarly research.
