Hardeep Kaur is a Chemist with a strong background physical Chemistry, nanotechnology, Biochemistry, and inorganic chemistry. Presently, she is working as an Assistant Professor at the Department of Biotechnology, Chandigarh University, Mohali, India. She completed her Graduation (B.Sc. Non-Medical) from Govt. College Ropar (affiliated to Panjabi University, Patiala); master’s degree in inorganic Chemistry from Mata Gujri College, Fatehgarh Sahib and her PhD (Physical Chemistry – Synthesis of carbon and coinage metal based nanosensors for selective detection of pollutants) from Chandigarh University, Mohali, India. She has published many peer-reviewed papers and book chapters in reputed international/national journals and books chapter like Springer, Taylor & Francis, Elsevier, and Water, Air, & Soil Pollution, Results in Chemistry, Journal of Inorganic and Organometallic Polymers and Materials. She has received grant from DST funded project (Project Title: Low-cost eco-friendly Novel Carbon Based Nanosensors for Selected Heavy Metals and Pesticides) under Kiran Division WOS-B since 2021-2024. She had been awarded with different titles in international conferences. She had received “BHARATRATNA Dr. RADHAKRISHNAN GOLD MEDAL AWARD” on 10th Oct 2020 presented by Global Economic Progress & Research Association, in Tiruvannamalai, Tamil Nadu. Also, Best Young Scientist Award in Chemical Sciences associated of the 2nd International Conference on Advance Interdisciplinary Research (ICAIR-2023), Jointly organized by Digvijai Nath Post Graduate College, Gorakhpur, UP & Science Tech Institute, Lucknow, UP, India on April 9th, 2023 & Presented by MKSES Educational Society. She does research in Physical Chemistry, nanomaterials, Photochemistry, nanosensors. Her research activities have focused on synthesis and characterization of coinage metal and carbon-based nanomaterials from traditional medicinal plants and waste materials and further evaluation of their sensing potential for metal and pesticides in water. Currently, his research group at Chandigarh University is investigating the field of more environmentally friendly synthesis of metal nanoparticles and carbon nanodots using plant extracts/plant-based biomass followed by assessing their biological, catalytic, and sensing potential.
Rakesh Kumar Phanden completed his B.Tech. in Mechanical Engineering from the U.P. Technical University, Lucknow, India and M.Tech. in Integrated Product Design and Manufacturing from the Department of Mechanical Engineering, G.J.U. of Science and Technology, Hisar, India. He completed his PhD in Mechanical Engineering from the National Institute of Technology, Kurukshetra, India in 2012. He has done his post decorate from Cranfield University UK. He is currently working as Sessional Academic with Institute of Innovation, Science and Sustainability, Federation University Australia, VIC, Australia and as Professor with Sat Kabir Institute of Technology & Management, Bahadurgarh, Haryana, India. He is also associated with quality assurance department of Institute of Health & Management, North Melbourne VIC, Australia. He has chaired many technical sessions in conferences and reviewed articles for many SCI and Scopus indexed international journals of repute. He has organized various international conferences namely ICNDME 2014, FLAME 2018, FLAME 2020, FLUTE 2021, FLUTE 2023 and FLAME 2022 in the capacity of organizing secretory. He has fifteen years of teaching experience at private and government institutes and universities in India and abroad. He has contributed more than 100 papers at the national/international levels including SCI journals. His current areas of interest include nature inspired optimization algorithms for various mechanical engineering problems, cyber-physical systems, energy-aware modelling of systems, MEMS, Microfluidic Devices, Micromanufacturing, manufacturing systems, production scheduling, integration of process planning and scheduling and product design and manufacturing, industrial production, welding techniques. He has received International Travel Grant from DST to visit the USA and he has visited London, Singapore, Turkey, Dubai, and many African countries for various research work in collaboration with Amity University.
Rajeev Singh is working as Associate Professor (Mechanical Engineering) at Amity University Uttar Pradesh Noida UP since 2017. He worked as Associate Professor (Mechanical Engineering) in Global University, Saharanpur from 2014 to 2017. Prior to this, he was working as Assistant Professor (Sr. Grade) in PSG Institute of Advanced Studies, Coimbatore TN from 2013 to 2014. Dr. Rajeev Kumar Singh has worked in faculty position in Northern India Engineering College, Lucknow from 2000 to 2007. Apart from this, he has also worked in Nagpur Alloy Casting Limited, Nagpur MS and Crown Brass Pvt. Ltd., Bahadurgarh Distt. Jhajjar HR. Dr. Rajeev Kumar Singh has completed Ph.D. in Mechanical Engineering from Indian Institute of Technology, Kanpur in 2014; M. Tech. in Mechanical Engineering (Industrial Systems Engineering) from Kamla Nehru Institute of Technology, Sultanpur UP in 2007 and B.E. (Mechanical Engineering) from Yeshwant Rao Chavan College of Engineering, Nagpur in 1992. Basant Sikarwar is a Postdoc from Iowa State University USA, Ph.D. from Indian Institute of Technology Kanpur, India, and M.Tech from Indian Institute of Technology Roorkee, India. His research experience is quite diversified, and he has been involved in experimental and simulation in many aspects of thermo-fluids research with an emphasis on phase change phenomena and the formation of interfaces. The subject is poised for growth because of several engineering applications such as the optimization of cooling techniques for thermal management of engineering systems, cooling of electronic equipment, heat pipes fabrication, water harvesting from moist air, and thermal energy storage. During his Ph.D., he developed a Finite Volume-based CFD solver and many students of his research groups at Amity university have been using this CFD solver for their research in thermal and fluid engineering. He published more than 40 SCI/Scopus-indexed journals and more than 100 Scopus-indexed conference publications. He completed one SERB-funded project and three funded projects from various funding agencies (BRNS and DST) are going on. He chaired many conferences. He is a member of the editorial board of many journals and book series, and he is a guest editor in the journal Enhanced Heat Transfer (Begell House Corp.). He is a consultant in many industries, and he has guided four Ph.D. Currently, four students are carrying out his research under his supervision. He has been heading the department of Mechanical engineering, Amity University Uttar Pradesh, since 2018. In addition, he is an Assistant Director of the Amity directorate of Engineering, Technology, and Innovation (ADETI).
