Visiting researcher at EPFL, Switzerland. Visiting expert under ADB, Associate Prof. UTM, Malaysia. Senior Manager MCRIA Malaysia. Senior research scientist with GMD-Japan. Associate Prof. with Monash Univ. leading Mechatronics program. A full Prof. Robotics and Mechatronics at Swinburne Univ. Invited Prof. KAIST South Korea, Visiting Prof. at Saga Univ. Japan. Since Sept. 2007 he is full Professor of Robotics and Mechatronics at AUC. He also served consultant and technical adviser for Toyota group, ABB, etc. He published 10 books, 24 book chapters, more than 275 papers at international journals and intern. confs. His main research focus: Human and Friendly Mechatronics, Intelligent and Autonomous Robotics/Vehicles: Control, Mapping-Localization, Navigation and Learning. Service Robots for Humanitarian Demining, Biomimetic and Biomedical Robotics, Telecooperation Distributed Teleoperation, and Collaborative Control, Intelligent and Nonlinear Control, Wireless Sensor Networks, Industry 4, Flying Robots.
