Zainul Abdin Jaffery

Zainul Abdin Jaffery is at present Professor in the Department of Electrical Engineering and Honorary Director of University Training and Placement Jamia Millia Islamia (a Central university, Govt. of India). Dr Jaffery obtained his U.G degree in Electrical Engineering and P.G degree in Electronics and Communication Engineering from Aligarh Muslim University, Aligarh, India in 1987 and 1989 respectively. He obtained his PhD degree from Jamia Millia Islamia in 2004. Prof. Jaffery has published about 100 research papers in the area of Electronics and Electrical engineering in the peer reviewed international journals and conferences. His research area includes Digital signal processing, Digital image processing, biomedical image processing, soft computing techniques and their applications in power engineering and electronics engineering. Prof. Jaffery has delivered many invited lectures in various institutes and conferences. He is the reviewer of many international journals. Prof. Jaffery is a member of various academic societies of national and international repute. He is senior member of IEEE (USA). Prof Jaffery has wide administrative experience. Prof. Jaffery has served as Head of the Department of Electrical Engineering and as the Director of Centre for Innovation and Entrepreneurship, Jamia Millia Islamia. Prof. Jaffery has been General Chair of IEEE International conference ICPECA-19, Track Chair of IEEE International conference INDICON-2015 and technical committee member of many IEEE conferences. Prof Jaffery has been invited as subject expert in many public service commission and Industries.
