Zahira Tabassum

Zahira Tabassum obtained her Doctorate in Electronics Engineering from Jain University in 2023."Analysis and Design of Demand Side Management in Smart Grids" was the title of her thesis. She is presently employed with the HKBK College of Engineering as an Associate Professor in the ECE Department. Dr. Zahira has 22 years of broad teaching experience and has made major contributions to research and academia. She won the best "Innovative Teaching" award in 2022 thanks to her enthusiasm for teaching and utilisation of a variety of teaching methodologies. She has papers published at IEEE conferences and reputable journals. Her areas of research interest include Smart Grids, Embedded Systems, IoT and Machine Learning. She constantly looks for ways to learn more and keep up with the most recent developments in her areas of expertise.
