Wendy Cynthia Sealy

Wendy Sealy is a Reader in Graduate Employability at the University of Chichester, UK. She grew up and was educated in Barbados playing many traditional Barbadian games as a child. On graduation, Dr Sealy embarked on a hospitality career working in several international hotels where she experienced the ‘behind the scenes’ workings of the industry first-hand and experienced how the business models of trans national companies cause damage to local communities. Dr Sealy draws on her intimate knowledge of Barbados’ tourism sector and indigenous sports to offer community-based tourism solutions.
