Susmita Halder

Susmita Halder is Associate Professor in Clinical Psychology at St. Xavier's University, Kolkata. She is a licensed Clinical psychologist registered with the Rehabilitation Council of India. An alumnus of Ranchi Institute of Neuro-Psychiatry and Allied Sciences Ranchi, Dr Susmita has been into clinical teaching and consultancy for last 15 years and has worked in different leading institutes and hospitals. She had been a Research fellow at the prestigious Centre for the Study of Developing Societies, New Delhi. As Research Psychologist in ‘The Cognition Group’ she assisted in development of the Cogtest Neuropsychological Battery and had also been associated with the Pearson Group for standardization of Psychological scales in India. Her research interest lies in neuropsychology, cognitive remediation and Cognitive Behaviour Therapy with children and adolescents. She gainfully uses her experiences to have a broader insight of customizing psychotherapy process particularly CBT with her clients. She has over 100 publications in indexed journals, and presented talks in national and international platforms.
