Srinivasan Balakrishnan Moharkonda

M.B. Srinivasan is currently associated with CHRIST (Deemed to be University) in the Department of Business and Management, BGR Campus, Bangalore, Karnataka. Prior to his current role, Dr. Srinivasan served as Professor & Head in the Department of Business Administration at the School of Arts and Science, VMRF (Deemed to be University) AV Campus, Paiyanoor, Chennai, Tamil Nadu. He also held the position of Program Leader (MBA) at Olympia College in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. Dr. Srinivasan earned his Bachelor's and Master's degrees from the University of Madras, with his MBA specializing in Marketing Management from the SRM Institute of Management Studies, University of Madras, India. His academic journey culminated in a Ph.D. from Bharathiar University, Coimbatore, India Commencing his career in the Software Industry, Dr. Srinivasan initially worked in Sales and Marketing in India before transitioning to a Business Analyst role in Malaysia. With a robust industrial background, he later ventured into academia, holding positions at Veltech University and Vinayaka Mission Research Foundation (VMRF) in India as a Professor. He also served as a Program Leader - MBA at Kolej Gemilang and Olympia College in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia accumulating over 14 years of teaching and 8 years of industrial experience. Dr. Srinivasan's diverse educational experiences include training by the Chartered Institute of Marketing in the UK and a stint as a Visiting Faculty at the University of West of Scotland. He is well-versed in teaching programs ranging from Diplomas to Doctor of Business Administration (DBA) from institutions like Anna University, Madras University, University of West of Scotland, IPE (Paris), and University of South Wales. With a career spanning more than two decades, Dr. Srinivasan has successfully blended his industrial experience with academia, offering a unique perspective to make teaching engaging and application-oriented for students. His research interests encompass Digital Marketing, Online Shopping, Consumer Behavior, Leadership, Tourism Marketing, and Work-Life Balance.
