Sameerah Tawfeeq Saeed

Sameerah T. Saeed is a Ph.D. holder from Newcastle University, UK in Theoretical Linguistics. She acted as the Director of Quality Assurance at Tishk International University, Kurdistan Region, Iraq during 2017-2021. She has also served as the Director of Quality Assurance and Accreditation at Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research, Kurdistan Region-Iraq during 2016-2017. From 2007 to 2009, she was the Program Assistant for the Women Political Parties department at the National Democratic Institute for International Affairs (NDI), Erbil/Iraq. Dr Saeed is the Country Delegate of Kurdistan-Iraq at the International Higher Education Teaching and Learning Association (HETL). Her research interests include: Issues of Higher Education, Quality Assurance, Universities Ranking, service-learning, Theoretical Linguistics, Syntactic-Semantic Analysis of Various Grammatical Categories, and Linguistic Typology.
