S. R. Deepika

Deepika S.R. serves as an Assistant Professor at the School of Business and Management, Christ Deemed to be University in Bangalore. She earned her Ph.D. in Finance from Bharathiar University, Coimbatore, and holds an MBA from GRG School of Management Studies, Coimbatore. Throughout her academic journey, she consistently excelled, securing a university rank in her undergraduate studies and earning the top position in her 12th-grade examinations. Additionally, she is qualified in UGC – NET (Management). Bringing over 10 years of teaching experience at both undergraduate and postgraduate levels, Dr. Deepika has made significant contributions to institutions such as Jain University, Jyoti Nivas College Autonomous, Kristu Jayanthi College Autonomous, and GRG School of Management Studies. Her professional journey also includes a brief tenure as an administrative officer at Saratha College of Arts and Science, Gobichettipalayam. Specializing in Finance, Dr. Deepika adeptly handles diverse subjects including Investment Analysis and Portfolio Management, FInancial Derivatives, Financial Markets and Services, Fundamentals of Accounting, Business Statistics, and Entrepreneurship Development. Beyond teaching, she actively engages in organizing and contributing as a resource person for national-level faculty development programs and workshops, focusing on Financial Risk Management, Derivatives, and Investment Management. Dr. Deepika is not just an educator; she practices what she preaches in her personal life, demonstrating her expertise as a goal-based financial investor who has navigated both bull and bear markets in her investment journey. She has contributed to the academic community through research articles published in refereed journals and presentations of research papers at international conferences. Adding another dimension to her diverse skill set, Dr. Deepika is a YouTuber, sharing valuable insights on personal finance and investments through around 25 videos on her channel. She has a keen interest in public speaking and was an active member of a Toastmasters’ club.
