Rupam Konar

Rupam Konar is the Programme Director for the Doctor of Philosophy (Hospitality & Tourism) and Master of Science (Tourism) programmes. Dr. Konar is also a Senior Lecturer in the School of Hospitality, Tourism & Events at Taylor’s University, Malaysia. He also serves as a managing editor for the SCOPUS-indexed Asia Pacific Journal of Innovation in Hospitality and Tourism and as an Associate Director at the Centre for Research and Innovation in Tourism (CRiT). Dr. Rupam is a Certified Microsoft Innovative Educator. His specialization area includes service innovation, service delivery, and service design within the hospitality industry. Within his research interest, he has published in many international refereed journals, and books and has successfully complemented many national and privately funded research projects. With his gained years of experience in the hospitality sector and academia, he is now really intrigued by the possibilities and innovative changes he can contribute to these industries.
