Rizwan Ahmad

Rizwan Ahmad is a Professor and Head of Research at the School of Electrical Engineering and Computer Science (SEECS), National University of Sciences and Technology (NUST), Islamabad - Pakistan. He earned his PhD from Victoria University, Australia in 2010 and his MS from the University of Stuttgart, Germany in 2004. From 2010 to 2012, he was a Postdoctoral Research Fellow at Qatar University, Doha, Qatar, on a QNRF Grant. His research interests include public safety networks, UAV-assisted networks, WBANs, medium access control protocols, spectrum and energy efficiency, energy harvesting, and performance analysis for wireless communication and networks.
