R. Shekhar

Shekhar R. is a Doctorate in Computer Science from MS University, Tirunelveli, a Postgraduate in Computer Networks and graduate in Computer Science and Engineering from the University of Bangalore. He has professional certifications in Microsoft, Cisco Networks. Dr. Shekhar joined Alliance in 2012 and has since been actively engaged in the areas of teaching, research, training, and development. He has vast experience of more than two decades in teaching and has held many prestigious positions in various reputed institutions. Dr. Shekhar has been awarded the “ Rastriya Shiksha Gaurav Puraskar” a National award in the year 2021, “Techno Guru” a National Award in 2019, “Adarsha Vidya Saraswathi Rashtriya Puraskar” a National award and “Distinguished Faculty” from reputed organizations in the year 2018. Dr. Shekhar has been awarded the ‘Best Editor’ for contributing as ‘Lead Editor’ for the book ‘Maximum Authors Contributing For A Book on Covid 19 and Its Impact’ registered for the event ‘India book of Records’ and ‘Asia book of Records’. Dr. Shekhar has an Indian Patent Published on Artificial intelligence. He has authored for Textbooks related to Computer Science and Engineering-Introduction to Microprocessor, Nano-computing and Cyber heal. He is a lifetime member of ISTE, CSI, IET holds membership of various reputed international organizations. He serves as an Editorial member of IJICTS, an international journal and has been a reviewer for several National and International journals. He is also a sitting member of different National and International Associations in the field of Computer science. Dr. Shekhar has been working as SPOC for SWAYAM NPTEL since 2018 and has received appreciation and has been awarded as Active SPOC for SWAYAM-NPTEL. Dr. Shekhar has been teaching for Post-Graduation, UnderGraduation and PhD students in the field of Computer Science and Engineering He is a highly versatile teacher in various Computer related subjects such as data Mining, Image Processing, Computer Networks, Artificial Intelligence, and many other subjects related to Computer Science and Engineering. He has guided many postgraduate students in preparing dissertations in various subjects. He has presented papers in National and International forums, published number of articles in journals having high impact factors, and chaired many conferences. He has organized various workshops and conferences for highly reputed institutions.
