Quyen Thi Thuc Bui

Quyen Bui is currently a full-time lecturer at the Faculty of Foreign languages, Ho Chi Minh City Open University, Vietnam. She received her BA degree in Teaching English for Ho Chi Minh City University of Education, her Msc degree in TESOL from California State Univeristy, Fullerton, the U.S.A, and her Ph.D degree in English Language Studies (with concentration in TESOL) from Suranaree University of Technology, Thailand. She has been in the field of TESOL for more than 30 years and has worked as a lecturer for undergraduate and graduate students, a thesis/dissertation supervisor, a thesis/dissertation defense committee member, an evaluator of English programs and curriculums, and a supervisor/ an expert at language centers. Her research interests include but are not limited to Teaching methodology, Technology enhanced language teaching and learning, Communication strategies, Language learning strategies, Learner autonomy, Intercultural communication. Her research articles have been published in Vietnamese and international journals.
