Oluyomi Susan Pitan

Oluyomi Pitan is a female academic from Nigeria. She earned her M.Ed. and PhD degrees in Educational Management with an emphasis in Economics of Education from the University of Ibadan in Nigeria in 2000 and 2010, respectively. She graduated with a Bachelor of Science and Education (B.Sc./Ed.) in Economics from Obafemi Awolowo University in Ile-Ife, Osun State, Nigeria. Dr Pitan held academic positions and postdoctoral research fellowship at the University of KwaZulu-Natal (UKZN), South Africa, from 2014 to 2018, where she is now an honorary research fellow. She is currently employed as a senior lecturer at the department of arts and social science education, Lead City University in Ibadan, Nigeria. She specializes in economics of education and her research interest is Higher Education with a particular focus on graduate employability where she has published many high-quality research articles. Dr Pitan has presented her research at both national and international conferences.
