Olena Akilina

Olena Akilina is a Ph.D. in Economics, Associate Professor of the Department of Management at Borys Grinchenko Kyiv Metropolitan University. She has repeatedly trained in the Czech Republic, Poland and the Baltic States with the focus on the problem of leadership in education. She has twenty-five years of teaching experience. She has been lecturing on the topics of labour and social economics, management, change management. She is an author of more than 80 scientific and methodical papers. Participation in co-project of Kyiv National Economic University, Jean Monnet Fund and Education, Audiovisual and Culture Executive Agency (528395-LLP-1-2012-1- UA-AJM-CH/1), personal contribution: development of the research ‘Social identification of EU regions development’. Currently a member of the EU project (Erasmus+ “Peace education for consolidated and human-centered Europe” 101094420 — PeaECH — ERASMUS-JMO-2022-HEI-TCH-RSCH-UA-IBA). Within the framework of this project, she created a content module (“Basic Mediation Skills”), which is part of the course ” Peace Education in Management and Business ” taught at the second master's level for managers (including educational managers) and civil servants.
