Nicholas Athey , Ph.D., is an Assistant Professor of Sociology and Criminology at the University of La Verne. His research explores drug policy and markets, substance-using populations, cannabis legalization, and political discourse. Dr. Athey's other research appears in Contemporary Drug Problems, Criminal Law Bulletin, Global Crime, and Drugs: Education, Prevention, and Policy.
