Mohammad Ullah Shemanto

Mohammad Ullah Shemanto is a dedicated and highly skilled professional in the field of medical physics and cancer research, hailing from Tongi, Gazipur, Bangladesh. With a fervent passion for contributing to the advancement of healthcare, he has garnered substantial experience and expertise throughout his career. Shemanto commenced his journey in the realm of medical physics as a Trainee Medical Physicist at Ahsania Mission Cancer & General Hospital (AMCGH) in March 2022. Demonstrating remarkable proficiency and commitment, he swiftly ascended to the role of Junior Medical Physicist in September 2022, where he presently serves. Prior to his tenure at AMCGH, Shemanto served as a Program Manager at the South Asia Centre for Medical Physics and Cancer Research (SCMPCR) from June 2018 to February 2022. Shemanto's academic journey is marked by outstanding achievements, having attained an M.Sc. and B.Sc. in Medical Physics and Biomedical Engineering from Gono Bishwabidyalay (University), Savar, Dhaka, with exemplary CGPA scores. His thesis work focused on shielding calculations for medical linear accelerator treatment facilities and the evaluation of CT image quality, reflecting his commitment to advancing the field through rigorous research and analysis. Beyond his professional endeavours, Shemanto actively engages in extracurricular activities and social initiatives. He has served as a member of various organizing committees for international conferences, contributed to medical physics publications, and volunteered for youth movements advocating for community welfare.
