Mavis Chamboko-Mpotaringa

Mavis Chamboko-Mpotaringa is a Postdoctoral Research Fellow at the School of Tourism and Hospitality, University of Johannesburg, South Africa. She holds a PhD, Masters and B.Com (Hons) in Tourism and Hospitality, a Postgraduate Certificate in Education (PGCE), Teaching English as a Foreign Language (TEFL) certification and has more than ten years of combined experience in education and tourism, a reflection of her expertise. Dr. Chamboko-Mpotaringa is a multidiscipline researcher, whose interest lies in digital technologies focusing on education, consumer behaviour and tourism marketing. Currently, Dr. Mavis is exploring the potential of the metaverse to transform education, consumer behaviour and tourism marketing.
