Lemma Lessa

Lemma Lessa is an assistant professor of Information Systems at the School of Information Science, Addis Ababa University. He received his terminal degree in Information Technology (specialized in Information Systems) from Addis Ababa University. He has served over twenty-five years in Ethiopian Higher education. His teaching interest is in the socio-technical aspects of Information Systems. His research interest is in Information Systems Security Management, e-Government, Enterprise Systems, and IT Governance. His postgraduate teaching includes Information Systems Security Management, Information Systems Strategy & Management, Enterprise Systems, Information Systems Project Management, and more. He has authored or co-authored over thirty-five articles - nine journal articles, and about twenty-six peer-reviewed conference papers. He is a member of the Association for Information Systems (AIS) and the current president of the Ethiopian chapter of AIS. As an entrepreneur, Dr. Lemma is a founder and general manager of UltraPerfect IT Training and Consultancy service.
