K. Manimala

Manimala K has 27 years of teaching experience. She is currently working as Associate Professor in the department of Information Science and Technology, College of Engineering, Guindy, Anna University, Chennai. She has published 30 journal papers in reputed journals like Elsevier, Springer, Taylor & Francis and has published several conference papers, book chapters. She is a life time member in Professional bodies like Indian Society of Technical Education and Institution of Engineers (India). She served as a member of MCA syllabus reviewing committee in Xavier’s College (Autonomous), Tirunelveli. She is also a reviewer for journals like Elsevier, IET and Springer. She has received funds from Institution of Engineers (India) for 5 student projects under her guidance. She has also received a fund of Rs.6.8 Lakhs from DRDO for her project titled “Implementation of path planning optimization algorithm for efficient navigation of UAV”. Currently her project titled “Leader Follower Autonomous Flight control for UAV swarm” for 29.7 Lakhs was sanctioned by DRDO ARDB panel and is in ongoing stage. Her interests are doing projects in Machine learning, IOT, Cyber Security, Power Electronics
