Ehyaudin Musema Ahmed

Ehyaudin Musema Ahmed (PhD Candid.) a young Engineer who has embarked on a scholarly journey culminating in the achievement of a MSc. in School of Civil and Environmental Engineering, Construction Technology and Management Sub-Stream [2020] from Addis Ababa University, Addis Ababa Institute of Technology (AAiT). With a penchant for both Engineering and innovative technology, his academic pursuits and research passion will left an indelible mark on the landscape. Upon the successful completion of his graduate studies, Ing. Ahmed emerged with a research motivated author, penning a couple of grant proposals a couple of research papers and contributing to international conference proceedings indexed by esteemed platforms such as SCI, Springer, Scopus, DOAJ, and WoS through a book chapter in the IGI Global. His intellectual prowess extends to the realms of innovation, that would work for his credit in the near future. Additionally, he has shared his insights through the creation of curricula modules, manuals and syllabus with the consideration of the applied university concept under the new educational transformation map of Ethiopia for Debre Berhan University Institute of Technology (IoT). The tapestry of Ing. Ahmed 's professional journey began in 2015, weaving through the fabric of various national higher education institutions. From the educational landscapes of Ethiopia at institutions like Debre Markos University, under the Institute of Technology, College of Engineering to serving at Debre Birhan University, his influence transcended also to the road construction industry participating In multi-million federal road construction projects under the Ethiopian RSDP-IV and V starting from the year 2016 in different regions of Ethiopia. Presently, Ing. Ahmed dons the role of Senior Lecturer and Module Coordinator for the Course Modern Construction Technology and Building Information Modeling (BIM) of the Construction Technology and Management Department at Debre Birhan University, Technology Institute in Debre Birhan, Ethiopia. In this capacity, he imparts knowledge to undergraduate students, offering a spectrum of courses in Construction Technology and Management. Ing. Ahmed has carved a niche in the research landscape, with a focal point on innovative Construction Technology, Building Information Modeling (BIM), Immersive Construction Technology (AR,VR and MR) 3D Printing, Geospatial Analysis for Design and Construction. Ing. Ahmed 's narrative is one of intellectual curiosity, global engagement, and a dedication to the advancement of knowledge in the dynamic realms of the Technology institute under the blanket of Construction Technology Management.
