Branco Di Fátima

Branco Di Fátima is a non-fiction writer with a PhD in Communication Sciences from the University Institute of Lisbon (ISCTE). He is the author of the reportage book Dias de Tormenta (Geração Editorial, 2019) and editor of the collections Hate Speech on Social Media (LabCom | EdiPUCE, 2023), Internet - Comunicação em Rede (IGOV, 2013) and Outros Olhares: Debates Contemporâneos (Leiditathi, 2008). He has published more than 80 scientific works and has been part of the teams of 10 research projects funded by national and international organizations. His current research interests include the study of the pathologies and dysfunctions of democracy, journalistic genres, digital methods, and social media analysis. He is currently a contract researcher at LabCom - University of Beira Interior (UBI), in Portugal.
