Berita Simonaitienė

Berita Simonaitienė has been working in the KTU Educational Research Group since 2001. She is one of the authors of the landmark document “Good School Concept”, approved by the Minister of Education and Science in Lithuanian (2015), an expert in teacher education and external evaluator of study programmes in the field of education and teacher training. Her research interests include: the learning school, learning modes, curriculum management, learning strategies and environments. Research experience gained through participation in projects: 2020-2023 „Disparities in school achievement from a person and variable-oriented perspective: A prototype of a learning analytics tool (NO-GAP)“, 2019-2022 „The development of adolescent personal goals in the context of social inequality (PaNel)“, 2021 „Solutions for the use of artificial intelligence and digital technologies to improve the quality of education in response to COVID-19 (TRANSFORM-ED)“, 2017-2018 “The Impact of Learning Strategy and Learning Environment on Student Achievement“, „Investigation of the effectiveness and feasibility of applying the theoretical model of learning strategy and learning environment factors in real conditions”.
