Assia Stoyanova

Assia Stoyanova is senior leader with 25+ years of experience in human-centered business transformation and culture and change management across 10+ industries. As a founding member of CGI’s culture and change management practices, Ms. Stoyanova has coauthored and executed repeatable processes and methodologies for successfully assisting large enterprises through organic and inorganic change to realize quantifiable results. As a lead practitioner, Ms. Stoyanova focuses on change management including stakeholder adoption and behavior, culture, communications, training, organizational design, team development, knowledge management, and collaboration, and change program governance. Her client advisory experience spanning various geographies and industries, such as utilities & manufacturing, financial services, healthcare, and life sciences, state and local government, insurance, and telecommunications has enabled her to distill culture and change characteristics and strategies that transcend verticals and locations and focus on the common human psychology traits. In addition to change management, Ms. Stoyanova has significant experience in business process analysis and re-engineering, strategy roadmap and business case development, governance, and PMO. Ms. Stoyanova holds an MBA from MIT Sloan School of Management with major in Financial Management and Economics and minor in Organizational Development under Edgar Schein and Systemic Change under Peter Senge. She also holds a Masters in Computer Technologies, a cross-section of computer science and compute engineering, that allows her to appreciate the impacts that modern technologies bring to the every day workplace. She is certified with Human Synergistics® Organizational Culture Inventory (OCI), Human Synergistics® Organizational Effectiveness Inventory (OEI), Prosci® Change Management and attended specialized trainings in principled negotiations, executive communications, team performance, dispute resolution, covert organizational processes, and behavioral modeling. Ms. Stoyanova is a founding member of CGI’s US CSG Women’s Forum and a CGI Bridge Builder Award recipient. She is also a member of MIT Club of New York, MIT Sloan Club of New York, Association of MIT Alumnae, and MIT Sloan Women in Management, and an MIT Education Counselor.
