Angel Justo Jones

Angel J. Jones began his 24-year cybersecurity career as a service member with the U.S. Department of Homeland Security, Coast Guard, investigating cybercrime. His expertise has made him the go-to subject matter expert for complex cybersecurity and cyber investigation matters. Dr. Jones' experience includes serving as the Chief Information Security Officer for several global firms and senior executive roles in the federal government, proactively protecting organizations from adversarial dynamic cyber threats. Dr. Jones is an adjunct professor at the University of Virginia and an advisory board member for the Boston University Center for Cybercrime Investigation and Cybersecurity. Further, Dr. Jones holds several industry certifications, including the Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP), Certified Information Security Manager (CISM), Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA), Certified Chief Information Security Officer (CCISO), Certified in Risk and Information Systems Control (CRISC), Certified Data Privacy Solutions Engineer (CDPSE), Certified Information Privacy Manager (CIPM), Certified Ethical Hacker (CEH), EnCase Certified Examiner (EnCE), Digital Forensics Certified Practitioner (DFCP), AWS Certified Solutions Architect – Professional, AWS Certified Security - Specialty and Project Management Professional (PMP).
