Ana Teresa Machado

Ana Teresa Machado has a Ph.D. in Management since 2011 from the Higher Institute of Economics and Management of the University of Lisbon. She has a Master of Science in Electronic Information Management since 1996 from the Information School- at the University of Sheffield, having completed a degree in Economics in 1983 at the Faculty of Economic and Business Sciences of the Catholic University of Portugal, where in 1994 she successfully completed his postgraduate MBA with a specialization in Marketing. She began her teaching career in 1993 and since 2021 has been Coordinating Professor at the Higher School of Social Communication of the Polytechnic Institute of Lisbon, currently coordinating the master’s degree in Advertising and Marketing, a position she has held since 2018. In scientific-pedagogical terms, its fields of action are Digital Marketing, Social Media Marketing, and Marketing Analytics. As a researcher, she has been a collaborating member at the Center for Applied Research in Tourism (Citur-Estoril), since 2020. She is currently participating in the research project, funded by the FCT (PTDC/EGE-OGE/2146/2021)-SHIFT - Sustainability-oriented, Highly interactive, and In- novation-based Framework for Tourism marketing.
