This edited book theme aims to highlight the new paradigm in the use of technological advancements such as blockchain and artificial intelligence. The fourth industrial revolution has forced a quantum leap in technology, and society as a whole must adjust. FinTech has the power to revolutionize several existing industries, including banking, healthcare, and medicine, as well as to start new ones. The advancement and implementation of these cutting-edge technologies have reached a point where blockchain and artificial intelligence (AI) alone offer a new prospect for reducing poverty, enhancing economic well-being, safeguarding the environment, and fortifying ecosystems. The emphasis is on a deep internalization of the profoundly positive shift in business ethics and norms within corporations, conglomerates, brick-and-mortar organizations, and other relevant economic actors in development, in addition to the excitingly limitless possibilities that AI and blockchain bring.
