Introduction

"Cultivating Happy Wisdom in Organizations" explores a novel approach to fostering well-being and sustainable development within companies and organizations. This book goes beyond traditional happiness programs, proposing a framework that integrates the pursuit of happiness with the cultivation of wisdom. It argues that by harnessing both happiness and wisdom, organizations can create a more positive, resilient, and ultimately successful work environment. The book will delve into the following key areas: The Science of Happy Wisdom: Explore the latest research on happiness, well-being, and wisdom, demonstrating their distinct yet interconnected nature in the organizational context. Building a Foundation of Happiness: Provide practical strategies for fostering positive emotions, fostering employee engagement, and creating a supportive work environment. Submission Procedure

Researchers and practitioners are invited to submit on or before August 18, 2024, a chapter proposal of 1,000 to 2,000 words clearly explaining the mission and concerns of his or her proposed chapter. Authors will be notified by September 1, 2024 about the status of their proposals and sent chapter guidelines.Full chapters of a minimum of 10,000 words (word count includes references and related readings) are expected to be submitted by October 20, 2024, and all interested authors must consult the guidelines for manuscript submissions at https://www.igi-global.com/publish/contributor-resources/before-you-write/ prior to submission. All submitted chapters will be reviewed on a double-anonymized review basis. Contributors may also be requested to serve as reviewers for this project.

Note: There are no submission or acceptance fees for manuscripts submitted to this book publication, Harnessing Happiness and Wisdom for Organizational Well-Being. All manuscripts are accepted based on a double-anonymized peer review editorial process.
