Introduction

Coaching is a collaborative relationship between the client and the coach that maximizes personal and professional potential in today's uncertain and complex environments, encourages the person to think more and inspires them to engage in creative processes. Coaching is internationally recognized as a profession. It is based on evaluating potential and possibilities. It is focused on the client's purpose and goal. In this focus axis, one of the elements that form the basis of the coaching profession is Neurolinguistic Programming (NPL). According to NLP, people react to their thoughts and behaviors based on the experiences they filter and perceive rather than the facts. If a map is similar to the region it represents, then it will benefit the person. Also, it is not known what experiences and objects really are like. It is only known through the internal representations formed in the mind in line with their sense organs, and a spontaneous reality is formed. On the other hand, information; It is a combination of thought, memory and imagination representational sequence. Subconscious means everything that is not in our mind at the moment. The subconscious has the resources needed to stay in balance. In line with these facts and truths, NLP constitutes the basic building block of all communication processes. Among the alternative schools of coaching practices, the Gestalt approach draws attention as one of the approaches that reveal the relationship between psychotherapy and coaching. In the Gestalt approach, "being aware" and "being here and now" are inseparable. What is meant by here and now is not to determine what happened in the past or what should happen in the future, but to determine what is happening at that moment. Awareness only arises in the present moment. For this reason, in coaching, the client and the coach are expected to focus all their attention on the flow they are in. Being aware is one of the most basic concepts of the Gestalt approach. The coach uses all means of communication while maximizing the potential of the client. Observing the person's behavior and holding a mirror to the person through this observation is the main task in coaching.
