Introduction

A surge in sales growth is anticipated for the retail industry, which will be bolstered by several factors including income, tourism, and competition. Like other sectors, the retail industry has also experienced a phase-out throughout the Covid-19 pandemic. It is noteworthy that the retail industry has managed to recover, even though the landscape has evolved in terms of developments, obstacles, and prospects, given that retail has always been and continues to be an ever-changing sector. It is self-evident that specific retail trends will continue to undergo irreversible change; this will be referred to as the "New Normal Retail." Green Retails and the Internet of Things are the foundations for further research into 'New Normal Retail' in the context of emerging economies. , This book will make a substantial contribution to illuminating the dynamics of the retail industry's forthcoming innovations and challenges. Moreover, this book will provide policymakers and academics with novel insights that will aid in comprehending the system's bottlenecks. This work will also make a significant literary contribution.

Objective

A profound shift is occurring in the retail sector, propelled by disruptive business models, evolving consumer preferences, and rapid technological advancements. The term "New Normal" denotes a paradigm shift in which conventional retail methods are being questioned and novel strategies are transforming the sector's environment. The objective of this edited volume, "New Normal: Retail Innovations in Business Models," is to offer an all-encompassing examination of the most recent developments, conceptual frameworks, and operational approaches that are transforming the retail industry. The book is of great importance due to its capacity to connect academic research and industry practice, providing a comprehensive viewpoint on the revolutionary influences that are reshaping the retail sector. Submission Procedure

Researchers and practitioners are invited to submit on or before July 7, 2024, a chapter proposal of 1,000 to 2,000 words clearly explaining the mission and concerns of his or her proposed chapter. Authors will be notified by July 21, 2024 about the status of their proposals and sent chapter guidelines.Full chapters are expected to be submitted by September 8, 2024, and all interested authors must consult the guidelines for manuscript submissions at https://www.igi-global.com/publish/contributor-resources/before-you-write/ prior to submission. All submitted chapters will be reviewed on a double-anonymized review basis. Contributors may also be requested to serve as reviewers for this project.
