Introduction

Globally, the integration of artificial intelligence (AI) is reshaping the contemporary legal framework, namely the justice system. This book aims to present the transformations of legal systems influenced by AI and the decisive role of AI in the legal system regarding the challenge from artificial intelligence in this transformation. This book examines the application of artificial intelligence (AI) and its effects on modern judicial systems. AI has completely changed the way legal systems analysis information, as well as the way justice is administered. This research investigates the uses, challenges and advantages of artificial intelligence (AI) in the legal field, and how this technology affects the efficiency, fairness and transparency of judicial systems.

Objective

This book aims to present the most recent empirical research findings and pertinent theoretical frameworks about AI's effects on legal systems. It is meant for expert in IT law, researchers, policymakers, and legal professionals who are interested in learning about the strategic role that trust plays in the adoption and integration of AI in modern legal practice. The book seeks to clarify how AI may be used to optimize legal procedures while respecting the values of accountability, transparency and justice through an examination of trust dynamics, to use "AI exploration in contemporary legal systems". Including analysis of ethical, legal and practical aspects, it is intended to create a guide for professionals and researchers who are interested in the field of AI and law. Through this study, it is intended to promote a rich and sustainable debate on the use of AI in justice.

Target Audience

This book is dedicated to legal professionals, as well as researchers, policy makers, who work in public policy, human rights, security, economy, ethics, social sciences and humanities, Education, information technology, and law. In addition, this book will provide executives and decision makers with detailed information regarding the ethical use and management of AI technology in their legal profession. It's also a useful tool for professors and students who want to know how artificial intelligence (AI )and the law interact with current legal frameworks and the possibilities of use in contemporary 21st century legal trends.

Submission Procedure

Researchers and practitioners are invited to submit on or before July 21, 2024, a chapter proposal of 1,000 to 2,000 words clearly explaining the mission and concerns of his or her proposed chapter. Authors will be notified by July 30, 2024 about the status of their proposals and sent chapter guidelines.Full chapters are expected to be submitted by August 18, 2024, and all interested authors must consult the guidelines for manuscript submissions at https://www.igi-global.com/publish/contributor-resources/before-you-write/ prior to submission. All submitted chapters will be reviewed on a double-anonymized review basis. Contributors may also be requested to serve as reviewers for this project.

Note: There are no submission or acceptance fees for manuscripts submitted to this book publication, Exploration of AI in Contemporary Legal Systems. All manuscripts are accepted based on a double-anonymized peer review editorial process.
