Introduction

The aviation industry, an essential component of global mobility, faces unique challenges and opportunities in the wake of environmental concerns and sustainability goals. The industry's significant environmental footprint, combined with increasing public and regulatory demand for greener practices, necessitates a shift towards more sustainable operations. Sustainable marketing practices in the aviation industry encompass a wide range of strategies, from promoting eco-friendly products and services to fostering consumer awareness and engagement. By leveraging innovative marketing approaches, aviation businesses can not only differentiate themselves in an increasingly competitive market but also contribute to the industry's overall sustainability efforts. This book seeks to explore the role of marketing in this transformation process, focusing on innovative practices that not only promote sustainability but also align with the economic objectives of aviation businesses.

Objective

This book aims to gather insights and research findings on sustainable marketing practices within the aviation industry from a diverse group of experts, including academics, researchers, industry practitioners, and policymakers. Submission Procedure

Researchers and practitioners are invited to submit on or before July 14, 2024, a chapter proposal of 1,000 to 2,000 words clearly explaining the mission and concerns of his or her proposed chapter. Authors will be notified by July 30, 2024 about the status of their proposals and sent chapter guidelines.Full chapters are expected to be submitted by September 8, 2024, and all interested authors must consult the guidelines for manuscript submissions at https://www.igi-global.com/publish/contributor-resources/before-you-write/ prior to submission. All submitted chapters will be reviewed on a double-anonymized review basis. Contributors may also be requested to serve as reviewers for this project.

Note: There are no submission or acceptance fees for manuscripts submitted to this book publication, Sustainable Marketing Practices in the Aviation Industry. All manuscripts are accepted based on a double-anonymized peer review editorial process.
