Introduction

The book “Advanced Material Innovations and Industrial Applications“ amounts to an optimal platform for researchers, engineers, academicians as well as industrial professionals from all over the world. The authors will have the opportunity to publish their research results, development activities, and cases of study in advanced materials science, aiming to promote the sustainable developments and innovation. This book provides opportunities for the chapter authors to exchange new ideas and experiences to establish research networking and to find global partners for future collaboration.

Objective

The book sets several objectives to meet readers' expectations, namely: - make new advances in the field of materials sciences accessible to readers, - develop state-of-the-art content according to varied contexts of applications around materials, - promote a community of scientists active in the fields of advanced materials, - identify tools, mathematical models and new generation approaches applied to materials sciences, - cover disciplines using non-metallic materials, - highlight the interactions of the fields of industrial and economic activities in process aspects, namely: energy efficiency, transport and logistics, renewable energy, waste management and recycling, the automobile and aeronautical industry, etc. - enrich the literature by sharing experiences in the form of case studies.

Target Audience

The population primarily targeted by this book is scientific researchers and PhD students working in the fields of materials sciences. Engineering and science students will find content that fulfills their curiosities. Industrialists will also be informed and trained on new approaches applied in the materials sciences in their fields of activity.
