Introduction

This book explores the usage of blockchain, a new and intriguing technology that is transforming the way people travel. From making bookings safer to giving travelers more authority, blockchain is making travel easier and more exciting. The book discusses ways blockchain is transforming travel, making booking easier, and keeping personal information secure. The book also looks at how digital currencies are altering the way we pay for trips and how smart contracts make transactions easier.

Objective

The book's major objective is to demonstrate the transformational power of blockchain technology in travel and tourism industry. The purpose of this book is to illustrate how blockchain improves travel safety, convenience, and enjoyment by gathering perspectives from many authors. The book delves into the complexities of blockchain applications in travel, from trip booking to traveler information security. Finally, the book attempts to explain how blockchain is transforming the future of travel, making it more pleasurable and accessible for all.

Submission Procedure

Researchers and practitioners are invited to submit on or before May 19, 2024, a chapter proposal of 1,000 to 2,000 words clearly explaining the mission and concerns of his or her proposed chapter. Authors will be notified by June 2, 2024 about the status of their proposals and sent chapter guidelines.Full chapters are expected to be submitted by July 21, 2024, and all interested authors must consult the guidelines for manuscript submissions at https://www.igi-global.com/publish/contributor-resources/before-you-write/ prior to submission. All submitted chapters will be reviewed on a double-anonymized review basis. Contributors may also be requested to serve as reviewers for this project.

Note: There are no submission or acceptance fees for manuscripts submitted to this book publication, Exploring the World With Blockchain Through Cryptotravel. All manuscripts are accepted based on a double-anonymized peer review editorial process.
