Introduction

In innovation in ‘Educational Robotics: Advancing AI for Sustainable Development’, we embark on an interdisciplinary exploration that bridges the realms of English and Science. This book delves into the fusion of language arts and scientific inquiry, presenting a unique approach to educational robotics that integrates the elements of both disciplines. By blending the creativity and communication skills inherent in English with the problem-solving and discovery-driven nature of science, we uncovered new pathways for fostering innovation, critical thinking, and sustainable development. Through this interdisciplinary lens, we aim to inspire educators, researchers, and practitioners to explore the rich potential of combining diverse fields to address the complex challenges of an interconnected world. The convergence of Artificial Intelligence (AI) with robotics marks a pivotal moment in education, offering transformative possibilities that extend beyond traditional disciplinary boundaries. This book embarks on a comprehensive exploration of these innovations, highlighting their intersection with both the English and Science disciplines. With a primary focus on Educational Robotics, we delve into how AI-driven advancements reshape educational paradigms and curriculum models. By scrutinizing the evolution of robotics-based curricula through an interdisciplinary lens, we aim to uncover synergies that not only enhance learning outcomes but also contribute to the attainment of Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). Through this interdisciplinary approach, we seek to illuminate the potential of combining the elements of language arts and scientific inquiry to address global sustainability challenges while fostering innovation and creativity in education.
