Catastrophic Engineering Failures in Rockets

image of the international space stationSeveral space exploration-related setbacks have recently occurred, causing concern over the future of the technology and safety of space missions. A SpaceX rocket's second stage engine experienced a catastrophic failure, potentially an explosion, during its mission to launch a new batch of Starlink internet satellites from California. This mishap occurred during the rocket's flight, causing concern about the reliability of SpaceX's engines and the future of its satellite deployment strategy.
Also, NASA's astronauts Barry “Butch” Wilmore and Suni Williams were scheduled to return to Earth on June 14, 2024, but will remain on the International Space Station until at least the end of July or early August due to issues with the Boeing Starliner spacecraft. Engineers are currently addressing thruster troubles and helium leaks.
To address concerns about the development and reliability of space travel and spaceship engineering, it is essential to gather more data from ongoing research.
