Image of the text - SCAM ALERT!

We want to inform the academic community of a serious issue where some organizations in different parts of the world are falsely claiming a publishing relationship with IGI Global, a U.S.-based international academic publishing house, under different pretexts. These scammers are using platforms such as WhatsApp to deceive researchers, falsely impersonating IGI Global and promising automatic indexing and other benefits in exchange for manuscript submissions and fees. They have also generated logos, as well as book and journal covers that at first glance appear to look like IGI Global’s branding and style; however, these are not genuine.

What You Need to Know:

  • No Affiliation: IGI Global does not partner with these entities for manuscript solicitation or publishing.
  • Predatory Practices: These groups are charging high fees and making false promises.
  • Report Suspicious Activity: If you receive any communication or advertisements claiming IGI Global is involved with a third party, please report them to us immediately.
