Scopus is managed by Elsevier and covers 19,500 titles from more than 5,000 publishers. To be included in this index, a title’s overall quality is assessed, taking into consideration the research content as well as the journal’s authority in the field.

Paulo Davim of the University of Aveiro, Portugal, the International Journal of Manufacturing, Materials, and Mechanical Engineering is a refereed, interdisciplinary journal that publishes highly developed articles with special emphasis on research and development in manufacturing engineering.
